K.W, 41, lives in temporary housing in Enfield. She could no longer work as a nurse due to health problems and needed help applying for benefits. STN helped her apply for Personal Independence Payment (PIP), which she was awarded at a enhanced rate for daily living and mobility.
She also struggled to use her Universal Credit account and couldn’t log in. We reset her password, updated her status, and helped her communicate with the housing department to fix issues with her application.
We also discussed and advised her on jobs what type of jobs she can do, and how to use current skills to change her career, updated her CV, applied for teacher training course so she can train people on care and nursing, she completed the course and now she can return to work
