E.A: Support with Work and Health Needs

“STN helped me when I had no one else. The advisors really care and never give up on people. I would recommend them to anyone needing advice or support.” – E.A

E.A is a 58-year-old man who had been working as a traffic warden for Enfield Council. When his driving licence expired, his ability to work was suddenly put at risk. Unsure how to complete the online renewal process, E.A came to Stand Together Network for help. We supported him step by step to successfully renew his licence and keep his job.

Later on, E.A began experiencing health issues that made physical work increasingly difficult. Once again, he turned to us for support. We helped him complete a Limited Capability for Work and Work-Related Activity (LCWRA) application, supported him in obtaining a doctor’s note, and wrote to his employer to explain his health condition and request reasonable adjustments.

As a result of our intervention, E.A was offered a more suitable, office-based role by his employer—allowing him to continue working in a way that supports his health and wellbeing.
