Are you looking for a volunteering opportunity and you don’t know where and how to start?

Volunteering can make a real difference to your own life and the lives of those around you. It is rewarding!

STN offers excellent volunteering programs, and all our volunteers are happy with us and recommend us.

Every day we work with inspirational volunteers and our partners to transform lives in their communities.

We have grown our pool of volunteers that all come from the local
community, have diverse backgrounds, and bring invaluable skills in areas such as accounting, counseling, social media, and mentoring. Examples of success include volunteers moving into sustainable employment after supporting and developing their work experience at STN.

For some, volunteering can be a route to employment, or a chance to try something new which may lead to a career change.

STN caters to beneficiaries living in London. We have a core professional team of enthusiastic, multi-skilled volunteers.

STN volunteers also contribute to our interpretation service as many are bi-lingual speaking different community languages including Arabic, Turkish, French, North African languages. And as mentors they often assist our beneficiaries with developing their English language, using computers and social media platforms, or studying for their British citizenship exam.

Our volunteer’s experience with us

"I have loved working with STN and being able to positively help my local community. The work STN does in offering academic and training support to those who need it most is really inspiring and I am proud to be able to help this worthy cause. Being a volunteer has enabled me to work on my IT skills, such as formatting and using Google Docs in a more detailed way."

“I am really enjoying volunteering with STN! They have been great in providing clear instructions and feedback on my designs, which has been very useful for me. Volunteering with STN has allowed me to build my design portfolio, and this will be a great platform to allow me to pursue a career within design. I look forward to continuing volunteering with them! “
