Sexual abuse includes any unwanted sexual activity, including:<\/span><\/p>

  • Touching or groping without consent<\/span><\/li>
  • Rape or attempted rape<\/span><\/li>
  • Being forced, coerced, or manipulated into sex<\/span><\/li>
  • Sexual activity while intoxicated or unconscious<\/span><\/li>
  • Being pressured or threatened into performing sexual acts<\/span><\/li>
  • Being filmed or photographed without permission<\/span><\/li>
  • Being forced to watch pornography or sexual acts<\/span><\/li>
  • Sexual exploitation or trafficking<\/span><\/li>
  • Child sexual abuse or grooming<\/span><\/li>
  • Online sexual harassment, sextortion, or image-based abuse<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      Sexual abuse can happen in many contexts:<\/span><\/p>

      • In institutions or places of worship<\/span><\/li>
      • In care settings or while receiving services<\/span><\/li>
      • Online, including sextortion, cyberstalking, or revenge porn<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

        Anyone can be a survivor\u2014<\/span>women, men, non-binary people, LGBTQ+ individuals, disabled people<\/b>, children and older adults.<\/span><\/p>
